A Free Surgical Camp will be organized at the District Hospital, Zunheboto on 25th August 2024, under the initiative of the Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre (CM-MOT). The camp will be led by MLA, Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso along with a team of specialist doctors.

The program aims to provide free and easy access to specialized healthcare, particularly for rural communities facing challenges in availing surgical and diagnostic services. The camp will cover general surgeries, obstetrics & gynaecology, orthopaedics, dental, and ENT procedures. However, surgeries related to eye and ear are not included.

Patients who were earlier referred for surgery but could not undergo the procedure will also be eligible to avail this facility, provided they carry their medical records and reports. Individuals advised to undergo surgery are encouraged to attend.
