International Youth Day organised by NSACS and DISHA Phek was celebrated at Phek Government College on 12th August 2025 with SP Phek, Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS as a special guest, who encouraged youth to follow a healthy and prosperous life with honesty and discipline. She urged them to face the failures with courage to succeed again and never indulge in bad habits like drug abuse and use of other intoxicants. She spoke on adolescence education with proper career orientation.
Short speeches were given by Kuduvo kezo (DISHA Phek), K. Zumomo Ovung, Principal PGC, while special numbers were presented by Sakulu Lohe (Tuneup academy) and Velato Neinu (DISHA Phek). Vote of thanks was given by Ketshuselie Kire (DISHA Phek) and also the awards were given to the slogan writing competition.
Earlier, the program was chaired by Vemutulu (5th Sem PGC) and invocation was pronounced by Seyielenuo (PGC).
