A meeting under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen, IAS with all line Departments was held on 13th August 2025 at Secretariat Conference Hall Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima.
The meeting was convened to review the status of preparedness of the Hornbill Festival, 2025. The Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of starting preparations early and formation of subcommittees for effective coordination. The Chief Secretary also called on the line departments to come prepared with concrete action plans and proposals for the next meeting on 25th August 2025.
The meeting also deliberated in length on various issues related to roads, sanitation, transportation, electricity and logistics arrangements by various departments. Various Departments also highlighted their action plans and work progress during the meeting.
