District Aids Prevention & Control Unit, Kohima organised a Red Run 2025, a district-level marathon to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), at Kohima on July 30th, 2025.
The event was flagged off by Dr. Chibenthung Kithan, District TB Officer, Kohima from PHQ Junction and concluded at Secretariat Junction. The run witnessed a strong turnout with 120 participants between the ages of 17 and 25 years.
Winners in both the male and female categories were awarded first, second, and third positions. These winners will represent Kohima district at the State-level Red Run, continuing the campaign to spread awareness on critical health issues among youth.
