Chief Minister of Nagaland Dr. Neiphiu Rio virtually inaugurated T Sentichuba Amphitheatre at Mongsenyimti Village, Mokokchung on 5th August 2025.

In his address, Chief Minister  mentioned that the Amphitheatre stand not just a new structure but a realization of a long cherished dream and a powerful testament of the unity and vision of the people of Mongsenyimti Village. It is also a symbol of the shared efforts and enduring partnership to bring development in the state, he added.

Rio said, the Amphitheatre is rightly named in honour of a leader as he was one of the most decorated and revered figures from Langpangkong Range whose contribution extended beyond his village, the whole Ao community and the state of Nagaland at large.

Earlier dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Pastor Mongsenyimti Baptist Church, L.Yanger and welcome address by Chairman Mongsenyimti Village Council. The technical report was presented by the Engineering Wing Department of Youth Resources & Sports. Speeches were also delivered by Advisor, Water Resource Department Tongpang Ozukum, Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma IAS, and Director NEZCC, Dr. Prashanna Gogoi.

A cultural presentation and folk dance was presented by Arkum Club Mongsenyimti Village and Sonshan Dancing Troupe New Yaongyimti Village Mokokchung.
