The Bharat Darshan programme for Nagaland Civil Service (Probationers) 2024 Batch commenced on 9th September 2025 with a one - week attachment at Institute of Management
in Government (IMG) - Kerala.
The focus area of the study tour to IMG was on good governance and tourism sector. During the one - week attachment at IMG, they interacted with the Kerala Administrative Service Officers followed by a session on Good Governance - Kerala Perspective. Field visits during the attachment included visits to Kerala Art & Craft Village, Start Up Mission, Centre for Tuber Crops Research Institute (ICAR - CTCRI), Alappuzha Houseboat Project of District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), and Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of the mainland of India. Three major water bodies - the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean - converge in Kanyakumari.
The probationers also met the world renowned humanitarian leader Mata Amritanandamayi. Her organisation, the M.A. Math, does worldwide charitable activities including running one of the top ranked private universities in India- Amrita University and also one of the largest private hospitals in the country- Amrita hospital.
The Probationers are further having one - week attachments each at ATI (Administrative Training Institute), West Bengal and at SIPARD (State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development), Tripura.
