The Design Development Workshop (Banana Fibre-Craft) which was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma IAS on 24th June 2025 was successfully conducted and concluded on the 23rd July 2025 at DIC, Mokokchung.
The training program was a 25 days workshop where 30 artisans were trained in design development in Banana Fibre Craft organised by the office of Development Commissioner, Handicraft Kohima, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in collaboration with District Industries Centre, Mokokchung.
The closing ceremony was graced by EAC probationer, Sangtsui, NCS and Kato T Aomi, NCS. The workshop was supervised by empanelled designer from Ministry of Textile, Ashwani Singh and Master Trainer, Alila.
