A District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) meeting for Registration of Births & Deaths was held on 13th October 2025 at the Office Chamber of Additional Deputy Commissioner Mon. The meeting was chaired by ADC, Mon Pakon Phom, who also welcome all the members present at the meeting.

District Economics & Statistics Officer Mon, Yhunchilo Khing brief on the overview of the Registration of Births & Deaths and highlighted the importance of Civil Registration System (CRS) to the members.

During the meeting, the members discussed the following agenda suc as:  Safe keeping of Births & Deaths records/certificates, Importance of Online Registration of Births & Deaths, Periodic Training Programme for Births & Deaths Registrars, Matter relating to appointment of Registrars, Latest records of Births & Deaths and MCCD and Delayed Registration of Births & Death.

The members deliberated for effective implementation of Registration of Births & Deaths at the village level and to sensitize the villagers about its importance through the Church and civil organisations.
