The Inauguration of Police Outpost, along the Mokokchung – Kohima Highway, was held on 6th August 2025 at Ungma Village, Mokokchung District.
After unveiling the inaugural outpost plaque, NPS, in his address, stated that the outpost is being set up for more effective patrolling, better surveillance, so as to ensure safety of the local populace and travellers. He also urged upon the people of the neighbouring villages for their cooperation with the police personnel stationed in the outpost so that the policing activities can be carried out effectively.
Short speeches were delivered by representatives from Ungma Village Council, Ongpangkong Mungdang and EAC, Ongpangkong Sangpangchang Longkumer.
