Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, inaugurated the Bypass Road Kiphire village as the Special Guest at 16 KM (Kohima Road) Kiphire on 24th July 2025.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Kiphire said that the Bypass Road, Kiphire Village will become an important lifeline for Kiphire village and Kiphire Town area. He extended gratitude to Kiphire Village Council and GBs for their solely initiative expenses of troubles and co - operation in the process of the Bypass Road construction through their Council fund successfully.

Deputy Commissioner also said that, he will consult with the line departments and will help them in every possible way as it is impossible for the road to last long without side drain. This road is not just for Kiphire Village only but for Kiphire Town and its peripheral areas and said, where there is road, automatically there is development and urged the Kiphire Village and Town people to always co - operate with understanding and be practical in doing good for the welfare of the public in general, instead of waiting only for the government in developmental works and must have a sense of ownership within themselves in government or private space. He also unveiled the monolith of the inaugural stone.

The Special Guest was accompanied by ADC Kiphire, Longdiba L Sangtam and officials. The program was chaired by Rezila.
