The District Task Force on Immunization (DTFI) held a Routine Immunization (RI) at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Kiphire on 2nd September 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Takatemjen Pongen NCS, EAC Kiphire. During the meeting, the EAC welcomed and acknowledge all the members for their active participation and cooperation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Yelo T. Mero DPO (RCH/UIP) highlighted the physical status report for Financial Year 2024-25 & 2025-26. He also highlighted on the ongoing activities in the district. He stressed on challenges and way forward so as to improve immunization coverage in the district.
The important meeting discussed on vaccine hesitancy and resistance and addressed stakeholders' engagement to address vaccine hesitancy and resistance including communication and trust building measures. National Immunization Day to be observed on 12th October 2025.The committee resolved to ensure more regular meeting to strengthen monitoring and supervision so as to improve Immunization coverage.
The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from the Chair.
