The 11th Edition of the Pochury Black Day Memorial Cup, organised by the Pochury Students' union, concluded at Meluri local ground on 24th September 2025. DC Meluri, K. Mhathung Tsanglao, who graced the occasion as the special guest expressed his happiness and said that it is the biggest sport event in the district to remember and reflect the unity of the people.

This signifies the oneness of the Pochury Tribe, and stands as the solemn reminder of the region’s turbulent history and the resilience of the Pochury community. This is the time for honoring the sacrifices, hardships and unwavering spirit of our forefathers by commemorating this day to ensure the painful chapter in the history, transforming difficult memories into guiding principles for our collective duties, he said Sports as we see today, as powerful tools that mould the character and values.
