The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, has issued a circular informing the public that the 13 Assam Rifles will conduct a small arms firing exercise at the Firing Range, Kohima Garrison, from 1st July 2025 to 31st July 2025.
All concerned villages, ward authorities, and Panchayats under Kohima Town are advised not to enter the Firing Range area or take cattle for grazing near the firing area during this period.
This notification has been issued to ensure the safety of the general public.
