In view of the upcoming Independence Day celebration, a mass social work was conducted at Medziphema sub-division on 9th August, 2025. The mass social work commenced from 6a.m onwards.

All the government offices and institutions participated in cleaning their respective offices premises and areas by segregating debris and waste disposal. With active participation from all government offices and citizens, the social work was a grant success.
