The Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of August was held on 12th August 2025 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS.
Chairing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner welcomed the new members and members present in the meeting.
After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the Board deliberated the applications for grant-in-aid to KG School Mangmetong and Model Higher Secondary School Mokokchung and decided to approve the two applications. E.E PWD (NH) Tuensang Division presented the status report of Bailey Bridge over Dikhu River at NH-202. The board also discussed the upcoming Departmental Sports Meet 2025.
The Deputy Commissioner also impressed upon the members to bring forth and share any constructive ideas and plan of action of their departments to serve the people better and also for overall growth and development of the district as a whole.
