A mass social work was conducted across the district ahead of Independence Day Celebration in Wokha as part of preparation for the upcoming Independence Day celebration in the district on August 13, 2025. The Social Work was conducted as per the directive of Deputy Commissioner, Wokha.

The initiative witnessed active participation from all government departments, colony residents, and citizens across various localities, reflecting a strong spirit of community cooperation and civic responsibility.

Cleanliness drives, public space maintenance, and beautification efforts were undertaken to ensure a dignified and vibrant atmosphere for the 79th Independence Day celebration in the district.
