With the rest of the country, Niuland District Administration along with the District Hub for Employment of Women (SANKALP) organised 5th Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan campaign at DC Conference Hall, Niuland on 13th Aug 2025.
Kelengunuo Solo, EAC, while delivering a short speech, stated increasing trend of youths getting into the habit of substance abuse is a growing concern in the state and urge the youths to abstain from the substance related abuse. Solo administered the Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign pledge.
The campaign also witnessed a painting competition among the students from various schools in the district. Akheli from RHSM School, Nimugha Awomi from Modern School and Kumsu Awomi from St. Joseph School were declared 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively.
Earlier short speech was delivered by Zipila Sangtam, Sr. Supervisor, while Boloka Jimo chaired the program.
