The monthly meeting of the Mon District Planning & Development Board for the month of August 2025 was held on 13th August 2025 at DC Conference Hall. The Deputy Commissioner Mon and Vice Chairman DPDB, Wennyei Konyak, NCS presided over the proceeding, and welcomed the DPDB Chairman.
After reviewing last meeting minutes, DC opened agendas for grant-in-Aid in respect for three schools: Good Samaritan School, Phomching Town, Holy Agenels School and Holy Trinity School, Tizit. In this regard, the Sr. SDEO Rose Ngullie gave a brief picture of the Schools and the building condition. The house discussed thoroughly and agreed to forward it to the higher authority for further necessary actions.
The house also discussed on Mon Administrative Headquarter Platinum Jubilee which is going to be held next year in 2026. The board decided to set up a committee comprises of all the HoDs of the district.
The house also discussed on the successful celebration of the upcoming Independence Day, where the DC urged all the government employees to be more responsible, especially the outpost officers to participate in the upcoming Independence Day. He requested them to not only attend but to celebrate it.
