A Three-day Random Draw Badminton tournament organised by Tening Badminton Club commenced on 13th August 2025 at Indoor Stadium Tening. The event was graced by Lungchui, Chairman of Tening Town Council. 

Speaking at the event, TTC Chairman praised the Tening Administration and the Tening Badminton Club for their admirable efforts in organizing the event. The chairman also encouraged the youngster to maintain discipline in sports fields. 

The competition will feature 14 teams and will conclude on 15th August 2025. The formal program began with an invocation prayer pronounced by President, Tening Town Youth Organisation (TTYO)  Kaibakam. Pauhui Pame delivered the welcome address and the program was chaired by Pekikhengpi Namdou.
