The 79^th Independence Day was celebrated at Medziphema on 15^th August 2025 with Advisor, Agriculture, Mathung Yanthan as the Special Guest.

Yanthan hoisted the National Flag, took Rashtraya Salute and delivered the Independence Day speech.
