The assessment camp for senior citizens and persons with disabilities was organised by the District Welfare Office, Wokha was held at summer house-cum-guest house Bhandari, Changpang community hall and Ralan community hall from 13th to 15th October 2025. The program was held under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) and the assistance to persons with Disabilities (ADIP) Schemes.

The main objective of the camp was to identify and assess eligible beneficiaries for the provision to aid as assistive devices to improve the quality of life and to promote independent living under the RVY senior citizens belonging to the BPL category, were provided with physical aids and assistive living devices.

The ADIP schemes, Persons Disabilities having 40% are assisted with aids appliances that help in improving their physical, social and physiological rehabilitation. Both schemes are implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

The registration and identification of eligible beneficiaries were carried out at Bhandari, Changpang and Ralan. A total of 76 beneficiaries were registered.
