The announcement highlights SEOC as the central hub for information collection and dissemination during emergencies, with recent coordination efforts cited in the wake of calamities such as the COVID-19 pandemic, Ukraine and Manipur crisis, and extreme weather events affecting the region.

NSDMA Emergency Contacts announced that uniformed NSDMA personnel and officers will be available at SEOC 24x7 to manage calls and coordinate disaster response actions. Citizens are encouraged to utilize these contacts in case of disasters or emergencies for immediate support and reliable guidance.
