Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has informed that the Total Lockdown under Kohima Municipal Area under Kohima Sadar Jurisdiction promulgated by this office w.e.f 25th July 2020 till 7th August 2020 is hereby lifted w.e.f 8th August 2020.

For market opening days and timings, the terms and conditions stipulated as issued vide this office order NO.DCK/COM/COVID-19/2020/A/567 Dated Kohima the 18th June 2020 shall continue to remain in force. (Enclosed)

“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 2,580. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, has convened an emergency meeting of the District Task Force to discuss matters relating to COVID-19 pandemic in Dimapur District at DC's conference hall on 7th August 2020 at 1pm.
