In what is being seen as a charitable inventiveness of the citizens of the capital city where numerous potted plants are being donated and placed alongside the streets by various individuals and organizations, the Kohima Municipal Council has thanked everyone for their generous contributions.

“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 1,460. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Rhosietho Nguori, NCS has issued an order that in view of the present situation to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in locality and community and in compliance with the directives of the Government, promulgated under Epidemic Disease Act, 1977 and the National Disaster Management Act 2005 the following is enforced in Tening Sub- Division with immediate effect:
