The Chessore Town Public Forum (CTPF) and Chessore Town Students Union  (CTSU) conducted a surprise inspection in the town area shops and seized expired consumer goods, and disposed of them by burning to ensure public safety in the presence of DBs and Police Personnel on 8th September 2025.

The CTPF President, Chuba also informed to all local shopkeepers to be aware of selling of all illegal substances and expiry goods, and also appealed to the public to be vigilant and upright while buying any goods. The public forum and Chessore Town Students Union has warned that anyone selling banned items such as drugs, alcohols and kutkas shall not be spared but will face stern action according to the appropriate sections of law and customary laws.
