Yingli College, Longleng observed its 33rd foundation day on 9th September 2025, at the college campus with the President of Phom People's Council, Y.P. Angam Phom, who graced the occasion as the special guest.

Y. B. Anyam Phom, expressed joy and gratitude and highlighted the brief history of the college and its vision was to uplift the downtrodden people, and that it was a community based endeavour. He reminded the attendees of the humble and challenging beginnings and now as a testament of the sacrifice of the pioneers. He also encouraged students to work hard and be sincere.

Former President APGO N. Shauhong Phom, while speaking on the occasion also encouraged the students to expand their horizon of learning and inculcate knowledge and wisdom during their college days.

Earlier, the welcome note was delivered by Principal Yingli Collage Dr. T. Temsu Imti. Other highlights of the events included the release of the 2024 College magazine Hela under the theme "Metamorphosis" by Dr. Kekhriengulieü Tachu Chief editor.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Vice-Principal Yingli Collage, Dr. B. Henshat Phom. The programme was chaired by Asst. Professor, Dept. of Environmental and Science, Jonathan S. Singsit, and the invocation was pronounced by Asst. Prof. Dept of Sociology, Phenmei B. Phom.
