Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Sarita Yadav IAS has informed that in view of the active case detected in Dimapur, some of the areas at Dimapur like Marwari patti, Ghorapatty and including the Zion Hospital has been sealed, so in this regard all such person who have arrived in the Kiphire District on or after 24th March 2020 from Dimapur and have visited the sealed areas/ market during their stay at Dimapur and even those people who had come  from other parts of the states and

The full text of the statement on COVID-19 as given by the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IAS is as follows:

“Good evening

I would like to give a briefing on the COVID-19 situation in the State as on 13th of April 2020.

A meeting with regard to 3rd April 2020 incident, where personnel from Special Task Force (STF) Nagaland, physically assaulted a Doctor on duty, was held today 13th April 2020 at Kohima.

Deputy Chief Minister, maintained that ever since the start of the National Lockdown to fight against the global pandemic COVID-19 the State Government along with the frontline workers and all the stakeholders, have been working tirelessly round the clock to contain the spread of the deathly disease in the state. 

In addition to the Standard Operating Procedure on disinfection of common public places including offices issued by GOI, the Department of Health & Family Welfare has requested all concerned to strictly follow the advisory given below to maintain safe environment at the work place:

The District Administration, Mon stated that since the covid 19 situation is rapidly evolving, constant vigilance is need of the hour. Assam, our immediate neighbour, has reported 29th confirmed COVID-19 cases (as on 12th April 2020) and we cannot ignore the danger that is looming right at our doorstep, he stated.
