Deputy Commissioner Kiphire Sarita Yadav IAS has informed all the parents and guardians of the returnees from outside the state coming to Kiphire district to arranged the following items to be used at the quarantine ward by their children/ relatives during the quarantine period such as blankets, pillow, bucket, bed sheet, plate, steel cup and spoon, mosquito net, mug and umbrella.
REPORT ON ARRIVAL OF STRANDED PEOPLE TO TUENSANG
A total of 36 stranded people has arrived Tuensang on first day that is on 18thMay 2020. The stranded people were from Shillong, Jorhat and Guwahati. The stranded people were safely deported to quarantine centers 9 individuals at JNV Chari and remaining at Sao Chang Government College Institutional quarantine facility.

OBSERVANCE OF ANTI-TERRORISM DAY ON 21ST MAY 2020
Nagaland along with the rest of the country will be observing 21stMay 2020 as the "Anti-Terrorism Day" in the state. The objective behind observance of this day is to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the sufferings of the common people and showing as to how it is prejudicial to the national interest.

“As at 4 P.M. today, a total of 961 samples of suspected cases have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 914 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 47 samples are awaited. In addition a total of 25 samples have been tested by Truenat and all are negative.
