DAILY SITUATION REPORT IN THE STATE

The State Home Department issued the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services in the State for the 17th of May 2020. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru while issuing the report informed that 2 (Two) violations of the lockdown were reported and 6 (Six) persons were bound down. However, no Law and Order incident has been reported in any part of the State.

DC DIMAPUR CONVENES MEETING

DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has convened a meeting of District Task Force to discuss matters relating to COVID-19 pandemic in Dimapur District at DC's conference hall on 18th May 2020. All the concerned members of the District Task Force, Dimapur have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.

DC TUENSANG BANS SALE OF PAAN AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant IAS, in the interest of public health and safety, has banned the sale and consumption of paan, gutka and tobacco products. It also stated that spitting in public places and institutions under Tuensang district is strictly prohibited as a preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 infections.
