The State Home Department issued the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services in the State for the 17th of May 2020. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru while issuing the report informed that 2 (Two) violations of the lockdown were reported and 6 (Six) persons were bound down. However, no Law and Order incident has been reported in any part of the State.

ADC REQUESTS FOR ONE PLATOON OF IRB FOR TENING TOWN
ADC, Rhosietho Nguori has requested to the government for one platoon of IRB for Tening Town on 16th May, 2020.
A letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Peren stated that the present police personnel in Tening Town in not enough to handle ithe situation of curfew 144 CrPC.
DC TUENSANG BANS SALE OF PAAN AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant IAS, in the interest of public health and safety, has banned the sale and consumption of paan, gutka and tobacco products. It also stated that spitting in public places and institutions under Tuensang district is strictly prohibited as a preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 infections.
