Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following locations viz. Naga Bazaar Colony, Ward No. 4, D-Block Ward No. 6 and Lower Chandmari Ward No. 13, the areas defined below are demarcated as sealed area in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.

“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 978. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.
