Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at AG Upper Colony, Kohima the area defined below is demarcated as Sealed Area, in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.
All movement of person/vehicles within the defined Sealed Area is strictly restricted/prohibited and is placed under active surveillance.
The full text is as follows:
“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 748. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.
The venue for the programme with regard to COVID-19 frontline accolade which was earlier scheduled to be held at Town Hall Dimapur has now been shifted at DBID hall Don Bosco campus Dimapur. The timing and program remains the same. This is for information to all concern.
